Back in August, things started to get festive as we photographed our 2019 Christmas brochure.

The Location

Our photo shoot location was a beautiful Grade II listed property in the heart of West Sussex. The period features within the property worked perfectly with our classic Culinary products and new festive pieces – think open fireplaces, chandeliers and huge dining tables.

Of course, no photo shoot is complete without a furry assistant. Bear the chocolate Lab did his best to assist the team, with the occasional spot of modelling too - see if you spot him in our Christmas brochure!

Inspiration

This year, our creative team wanted to create a collection of striking images that really accentuated our products, as well giving you plenty of ideas when it comes to styling our products in your own home.

Jewel like tones of teal and navy provided bold backdrops allowing the metallic finishes of our collections to stand out, all styled with home accessories such as agate serving boards and coloured glassware.

The flowers used throughout the shoot were sourced from the stunning garden that surrounds the property, again, choosing to use vibrant colours to create a contrast against of collections.

 The Shoot

Turning our ideas into a reality was interior stylist Lizzie Morris and photograph Matt Brown. Together they worked to create beautiful layouts and styled shots which look fantastic in our final Christmas brochure.

On day one of the shoot, the team focused on giving our new Pineapple Collection a fresh look. Styling the full collection against a tiled background with marble surfaces gave this retro inspired collection a fresh, contemporary look. Other pieces to re-style included our best-selling Palace and Heritage Collections.

Our Stag Collection was given a wintry look, placed on a blanket of moss and surrounded by candles. We also made a start on photographing our stunning new Christmas collections. Baubles hung by ribbons and strung from crystal chandeliers, garlands displayed amongst festive foliage and frosted votives adorned fireplace mantels.

The beautiful agate slices, loaned from Eliza Bautista, provided a striking base for our cutlery and cheese knife collections. Combined with navy tableware, cheese and condiments, our styling team were able to create some absolutely stunning images.

On our final day, we photographed our remaining collections, including our brand-new Florentine Collection. This stunning etched glass collection features baubles, vases, votives and more.

Other pieces included our Angel Wing Wall Hangings and Ornate Candle Holders. These beautiful silver pieces really stand out against our dark and moody backgrounds, whilst the striking burnt orange Westbury Chair sits at the forefront of this set up.
